Is it real duct tape? If so, you are probably screwed. If it is not real, though, you have a shot.

Excellent

Clarify what you mean??? please don't tell me i'm screwed... those aren't the words i like to hear...

Real duct tape has metal foil in it, and is conductive. If it shorted something, you are in a bad spot right now.
Make sure all your wires are connected, and that you have no shorts.

No... it's not conductive i tested that earlier just in case... but ill double check... but now i'm stuck to where i was...
Edit: i checked it again and its not conductive.

YAY!!!! ok well good news i took off the power to the LED's and the screen turned on again
.
Ok now for the wiring diagram since words are helping.

Just to double check the shorter leg on the LED's is negative right?
and yes i realize i put the ground on the wrong side for the pic and the top LED is actually on the other side but it doesn't make a difference.
Ok... well i found out something... apparently they are lighting up because i can barely 2 of them lighting up at the side of the light box... Im going to open it back up and see if i put the diffusing paper in... and ill also try that mod to get it brighter
Edit: Ok ... well the 2 peices of diffusing paper were there so idk... What is the order of how its supposed to be? i have it
1. lightbox bottom
2. peice of glass.. idk what it is
3. screen
4. 2 pieces of diffusion paper
5. closed lightbox
6. screen

Ok, ... i feel noobish asking for help everytime i run into problems but now its with powering the screen off of the SNES;

The screen is'nt turning on and im assuming the SNES is turning on because the 7805 is getting really hot... (burned myself a few times to test it)
Edit: i think i found the problem with the LED mod, the resistor i used... I used one for the controller and i didn't realize i did, So now i have to find the right one.

Is there any voltage coming off of it? If not, just cut off the charging tip, and solder it to a new power brick.

Excellent
Re: My Super Rutenik's (rubik's cube and SNES) project
As far as i know they dont sell the charger seperate im going to call Dremel tonight and see what they can do.
