I have to say, as far as accents go, Wisconsonites sounds a lot more like your stereotypical Canadian than Canadians do.

Personally, I say "about" with emphasis on the "AH", with a trailing "oot". I'm a second-generation Canadian. It sounds more like "Ah-bowoot" (Bow = ship bow, not ribbon bow).

Y'no what I hate? People who hate Canadians.

As far as little kids on my lawn, well, I live on a dead-end street and my lawn is still coming up. I only have a lawn for about 4 months.

But I second the sentry idea. It'd be powerful fun. Kids wouldn't want to be paintballed. Or just buy some barbed wire and put it around your property. That'll show them.

I hate when they redo a road one lane at a time, only to have it crack

Above all, I hate that every year, I have one teacher who loses papers, and blames their students.

So you're saying if a Kenyan beat you in a footrace and was all like "Haha I beat you because I'm a Kenyan and you're a fat american boy" that there isn't any truth to that? Races are just like species. You have snakes, and you have rattlesnakes, sea snakes, etc. They're not identical. Some are better than others by far.

BACK TO ORIGINAL TOPIC:

My biggest pet peeve is the lack of control parents have over their children in the supermarket (I've been working at one for over a year and a half).
Just today, there were two boys, four and five years old roughly, in the shopping cart. The mother stopped and was looking for something. One of them began to play with a bag of chips, cracking some of the chips inside. Then they both started in. The mother told them to stop. Once she turned away, the older one stomped on the bag, making it POP loudly, and made the younger boy scream, and then cry.

Edit: Actually, I think finding things in the supermarket in places they are not supposed to be. Like an OPENED package of frozen broccoli buried in a bin of toys. Or a bottle of chocolate Nesquik hiding on a topmost shelf 2 months past the expiration date, bulging from pressure.
