You might say you did it 1st, however this is a global internet and that means 31st March someplaces and 2nd April others.

3) Why did this post go into announcements like a sticky (because you can?), nice to see it is demoted now; why is his name in red like a mederators anyway when he is marked as a "senior member" and why is he a moderator if he is one - personal friends? If we can choose our own colour for our names, I would like blue please. (!).

As Tibia indicated, you should be more aware of consequences of playing with people's emotions. Inexcusable. BTW, this is not a case of "it was only a joke, chill out" so please don't try to brush off such an inexcusable topic with such an embarrassing justification. An apology would be more suitable.

It was the first in the US when he posted it. Some of these things sound too real. I hate the first (jokes like this or mean ones, at least), other than rickrolling, etc.

1) See #2 - Although a bit of a stretch, this was done on 4/1 from my standpoint.

2) Ever hear of timezones? It was 9:00PM on 4/1 when I posted it. I've never heard of any rule that it ends at noon. I'll admit, I probably went too far on the theme of it. I apologize to you, tibia, and anyone else that was offended; I won't be doing that again. I screwed up. Like people have said in the thread, screw-ups happen. Not only that, but this isn't exactly as serious as somebody dying.

3) As of a few weeks ago, I am an admin. I've been a mod long enough, been on the site for years (since I was a freshman in high school. I'm not a junior in university). Aside from Jones and those that Ben knows from the real world, I've been to Ben's HOUSE more than anyone else on the forums. The Senior Member part just hasn't been changed.


Again, I'm sorry to those that I've offended. Tibia, I'm sorry to hear about your experiences. I should have considered that the law of really big numbers, and that people are bound to have had these experiences. In my mind, because there weren't anybody that was actually hurt in this case, I saw it as more of a character in a fictional story dying. No, it's not fun, but it's not unheard of, either, and not necessarily wrong.

Sure it may have been in bad taste but you have to keep in mind this is the internet, if you think what sponge did was bad you should se half the stuff posted on 4chan, this is mild in compairson. as to carwrecks i would know better than most how bad they can be, thats why i dont have a problem joking around about it, ive nearly died once in a carwreck already

And that would be one of the many reasons I choose to avoid 4chan. I don't care to be exposed to this kind of sick joking. I come here for info about gaming and modding, not to have my emotional memories fecked with. Don't tell me this is mild in comparison to something I know I couldn't handle, it is still totally uncalled for. It's nice that you're so comfortable with it, but come on, man. Have some respect for those of us who aren't.
