No. Using those numbers, it should use about .8A at 12v, but when I measure the 12v going into my GC, I get about 1.6A (without a fan). So either ER screwed up on his readings (he is the source of those readings), there are different GC revisions that use greatly varying amounts of power, or the stock power regulator is super inefficient.
1A at 3v is not the same as 1A at 12v. I don't care if you're ignorant, just don't spread your ignorance.

The GC does not use 3.6A at a voltage the stock power regulator can run on.

I haven't measured my cubes power draw so I just said what the guide said, please don't call me ignorant for believing a power chart.

No, you directly added up the amps from different voltages. If you had done it the correct way, converting the values to watts, you would have gotten about .8A at 12v. But you just took 2.3A at 1.9v and added it to .9A of 3.3v, etc, which doesn't work. So even if the values are correct, you're wrong in your addition of them.

Using those values, you are wrong. Period. The end. You can't even blame the numbers provided to you for your mistake.

Ok I'm sorry, I thought just adding up amp draw wold work. I made a mistake ok. Sorry, but it made sense. He said the measurements were made with 5.5 amp battery. The time is 1.3 hours on the chart. 5.5/3.6 amps gives you 1.5 hours. So I though I was right.

So its really Mario's fault....

This is why we need a wiki, someone could change that right now.

Or somebody could really screw it up, all over again.
That's the only reason I don't use wiki.
Also-> @thewise:
I thought you'd even have the little technical knowhow to realize that more volts=more watts, etc, making the total amp draw different. That's 8th Grade Science!

Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:
