Shouldve died in the previously stated 'accident'.

I feel the same way. I actuakky felt a little sick when I read it (that heavy stomach 'cause you're sad feeling).

Nintendo was Mt Olympus to me when I was a kid. It harbored God-Like consoles, and stupendous games.

But somewhere along the line, games stopped being fun, and became mechanical.

I'm serious when I ask, does anyone have a solution to help make Video Games fun again, for us at least?

See? Here's the problem. When I was a kid, those 2D games were still inovative. That was part of the reason I liked them so much. Fun games, new tech. Now it's a scarey battle of economics. An industrial survival of the fittest. Damn you Darwin! You and your avant garde ways of thinking!

for the record, I was at a friend's house. This guy is a huge nintendo fanboy, and goes nuts over anything Nintendo makes. Even he thought the whole controller tilting thing was a pretty stupid idea.

That old "Kirby Tilt & Tumble" game for the GBC used that method of control. You would have to rock the Game Boy to move Kirby. A novel idea, but it made reading the screen living hell in less-than-perfect lighting.

Hey some games only work good in 2D. Look at Castlevania, I havent heard anything good about the 3D ones and we can all agree that SOTN though only 2D is considered the best off all them.

As for the controller, if they have a tilt funtion how do you play well upside down on the couch. All fooling aside, Nintendo is most likely make a grasp to get people to try out their new 256bit system.

They completely bombed with the GameCube as it offered nothing spectacular. Smaller games, hardly any internet gaming and I really didnt hear of that much 3rd pary support for it.

Just remember guys gimicks are really what the eary video game indestry put out. The mind link is a good example, but what about modems before the Dreamcast. They were nice ideas on paper but just plain stupid in the grand scheme of things.
