i don't know what shipping to canada would be, but i do know that the xbox is either a version 1.2 or 1.3. i recently put in a newer DVD-ROM drive (a hitachi-LG) and it works great. i gotta find a big enough box for it and then weigh it so i can get a shipping estimate, ill try to do that later on. i think shipping to canada would be expensive though, the xbox is a pretty heavy machine

The xbox fits into one of the long regular flat rate boxes exactly, with a bit of space left at the end.

you sure? i dont know if there's enough room to fit it all with enough padding to protect it well enough

Not the large flat rate (doesn't fit in that), but the long regular flat rate. Bring the xbox to the post office and put it in the long regular flat rate box if you don't believe me. But it could still be cheaper with First Class International.

Not the large flat rate (doesn't fit in that), but the long regular flat rate. Bring the xbox to the post office and put it in the long regular flat rate box if you don't believe me. But it could still be cheaper with First Class International.

i think it's too heavy for first class international. and i am NOT using a flat rate for it. i dont want it to get banged around, it has a hard drive in it. anyway, i PMed him about it and he said he can't afford to get it shipped there. so it's still up for grabs if anyone's interested.

First Class, whether domestic, or international, is only good up to 13 oz. It's a really limited way to ship.

International is not limited to 13 ounces; first class international (parcels) is more comparable to the domestic parcel post.

Edit: ok, it probably would be too heavy, but international is limited to 64 ounces.
