How many are shooters? Aside from Halo and Gears, the only other big shooter is CoD, which is a PS3 title too. And honestly, a large majority of stuff is cross platform, like Bioshock, Assasin's Creed, GTA, Rock Band & Guitar Hero, etc. That's why I don't understand why he really wants to switch. Unless you just really want to play Resistance, Metal Gear, and Little Big Planet or watch Blu-Rays, the two systems are very similar in terms of what games or the kind of games you can play.

Developers have to pay to host their own servers on PS3, Sony doesn't host them like xbox live. My step brother has a ps3, but he doesn't really have any good games. Mostly just crap cheap ones. But I'll play it when I babysit regardless. I love the ps2/ps3 controller and the free online/wifi really appeals to me, As well as little big planet, warhawk, killzone 2,and the resistance series, some other titles also. if I were to sell it, what do you guys think its worth would be?

I don't know, but I buy used stuff 1/2 to 1/4'th (or rarely 1/8'th) of their original price depending on how old or "banged up" they are.

So you're going to sell a system with a whole bunch of games to buy another system with very few different games? Those two systems being on par in graphics, sound, and gameplay? Why? If you wanted a PS3, why didn't you buy one in the first place?

If you sell, don't sell to used game stores. They give you very little and charge buyers a lot. Sell directly to other people (school, Benheck, GameTZ, work, college, whatever).
