A portable DVD player + a fat ps2 sounds like it would be about the same size as an xbox "portable" (in which i mean that you'd never want to carry the thing around it is so huge and if you put it on your lap it would melt your skin off and crush your balls at the same time).
In short:
Get a smaller ps2 and a smaller screen! The power consumption will be rediculous despite the fact that it will be huge!
