portable DVD player screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Most likely, not, unless you get a controller board, which can cost more that a new LCD with composite/component inputs.

If it has the right inputs, it should work.

you know the yellow plug? If it has one of those for an input, you're good to go.

If it has these Image for an input (look for an input, not an output), you just connect it up internally.

If that's for input, it will work.

First you should make sure that it's input and not output. It should say something above the port like input, output, or input/output. If it's the latter than there may be a switch somewhere on the dvd player to switch it from output to input.

As for telling you where to solder the wires we would need a clear picture of the circuit board of where the inputs are, both sides to be safe.
