Re: Soundproof bathrooms, toilets, and urinals
If you soundproofed your bathroom like that...just imagine how loud it'd be for the person in there

I believe that just increases your satisfaction in a job well done. Also, if you did that you could sing in the shower as loud as you want!Metallica Man X wrote:If you soundproofed your bathroom like that...just imagine how loud it'd be for the person in there

How about a tube that hooks into your body and just cleans it out for you? (ala Futurama Movie)

Black Six, I was going to mention a thicker door. But yes, if they still do make solid hardwood doors people should look into buying them for bathrooms.

Yes, but I was referring to full baths, as well as those in a somewhat more public setting, such as in a restaurant. Either would be pretty gross, especially a public toilet.gamemasterAS wrote:Half bathrooms can be carpeted and not be gross.

Like what if the toilet overflows. It probably won't be as bad as cat piss but it'll stay for a while.

I don't understand what the big deal is. Everyone poops, everyone pees. No one's any quieter than anyone else, so why make a big deal out of it? The house I now live in used to belong to a male friend of mine. (No, we don't live together, I moved in when he moved out.) It's tiny, like 12x30. The bathroom's in the back, through the bedroom, and there's nowhere in the house you can't hear anything. So I just ignore it. It's not that hard.
This post brought to you by David Duchovny's glorious nipples.

I thought the whole point was to make allot of noise to make people feel uneasy?
