Now I just need to figure out how to battery mod an n64 rumble pak, and it's a rumble and memory pak so it can switch between both. When I google it all I can find is the stupid article about how prisoners are using n64 rumble packs as tatoo guns.
I don't want to draw it from the 3.3 volt line because I want that to be perfect, and I think going straight from the battery would be too much. I can't find a guide anywhere, and the search function here on benheck isn't working. I can't find any threads from before the update.
The controller ports have a 3.3v line. One pin is data, one is power, one is ground (although not in that order, i can't remember the order, sorry)
Making stuff with my new beautiful CNC machine!
Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link: http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=32724

Don't worry, bacteria has a ANOTHER guide for that, it's on his n64 modding tutorial. There's a picture that show which is the 3v which is data and which is ground.

Man bacteria what would we do without you?
Not to diss Bacteria here, but that info was around before he ever even registered, much less made a portable or guide.

Well yeah, that's pretty easy knowledge, but since the search function on the forums is going buggy it's hard to find a thread that has that information. And it would be just embarrassing to post a question like that one the forums.
Bacteria makes convenient and very thurough guides and has them posted on one site. He's a valuable person to have on the forums is all I'm saying.
