I've had my license for about a year and a half. I've driven a stick shift as my main vehicle since school started (~6 months). Sometimes I get tired of it and wish it was auto, but as soon as I get in an auto, I wish I had more control.
I think I'd be fine with a semi-auto that can easily shift to neutral for coasting. I don't care much for the clutch, but I hate it when a retarded auto can't decide which gear to use.
