So that's what I did. Two are basic mice, working, wired, optical USB.
Those two are the "working" ones.
There's a wired Microsoft one that needs fixing, and three notebook usb mice with a "broken receiver". I can try to fix those, too, no problem.
The problem lies in the others. They are listed as "working", but without the receiver base. So, is there a way to pull a readable USB signal from the wireless mouse itself, and make a wired usb mouse from a wireless one?
Is there a usb signal on the mouse that is sent over radio waves to the receiver that I can just pull from straight into the USB data lines?
Don't be shy with suggestions, even with theory on how a usb wireless mouse works. I have five tries.
