I found this site a bit ago; they seem to have good stuff. Doesn't look like they have a quantity or price minimum per shipment, either.

YES! I visit this place ALL THE TIME down in Van Nuys! I'm glad they've expanded to the internet (unless they've had a site for a long time). They have the most oddball (cheap) electronics there, such as previously found NES switches (I bought 2 assemblies when I last went).

Excuse my bliss excitement, I just love the place.

I first bought from them in '04. Their inventory changes frequently, sometimes they have killer deals.

Yes, a 6 or so inch LCD plus a $40 controller board that totals up to twice the size of a cut-down PSone screen is most certainly the Holy Grail of Portablizing...

I am actually more interested in the backlight.

But yes, if a controller can be found, this would likely be an awesome deal (Depending on the price of the controller).

I just looked at the size specs, that thing is a monster.
How about:

6" 640x480 display with a controller board that's only 1"x2", and the whole business is only 5mm thick?

An SEM scanner that can generate VHDL.

Imagine this:
Take an N64.
Give it to whoever has the thing I'm talking 'bout, m'kay?
And this machine scans the actual chips on it, and generates VHDL.
VHDL is a fancy little language for FPGA's.

In other words, this thing could generate N64OAC's, PS1OAC's, anythingelseOAC, etc.

Sorta.
