You would have needed to cut the trace for the latch on the stock controller. Otherwise you will be latching from 2 controllers, and you'll get a 1 on all buttons since they are active low. Basically, not pushing a button sends a 1, and pushing it sends a 0. BUT if one IC is sending a 0 and the other sends a 1, it is received as a 1.

superjoy III 76000 in 1

Post by evilmrdoo »

Just found a place in town that still sells superjoys ($25 a pop, but its local and easy to get to...) Anyway just got the pinouts for it, they were a little jacked up (okay, a lot but who cares.
so here are my pinouts for the 76000 in 1, I couldn't find them elsewhere hope this helps someone ( I'm also posting these b/c when I lost my orignal superjoy pinouts I knew I could find them here, so if nothing else posting these here gives me a backup copy)
these are with the cartidge slot down from left to right 1-12
(new)(controller)
12-white (+5v)
4-yellow from controller
2-red from controller
5-orange from controlelr (shared by 2nd controller)
9-ground (brown)
11-video
10-audio

hope this helps (also found out straight 12v can fry these, be careful)

I'm working on deleting everything and keeping track of the IPs, but only Ben can ban these days...
