Self Booting PC Game
How do I make a computer boot up automatically into a pc game? I want to use an old pentium 3 computer as a dedicated machine to play a pc game I have created. Maybe I will make it into an arcade later. I just want to ba able to turn on the computer, and have it go right into the game bypassing any normal bootup screens. Is it possible?

Put a shortcut to it in the Startup folder in the Start menu.
You might also want to make a batch file that kills explorer.exe. (You'll probably need another command line program to do this;.)

If you plan on using a Linux bases MAME, then you should be able to write a few lines of code that will make the system start the game you want. And if you are interested in nothing by the game itself, set the system to boot in runlevel 3.
