I have several N64s, and one of them is taken apart.
While playing a game, I thought that it would be a good Idea to touch a piece of metal to one of the chips, making two of the pins touch.
Now neither of my N64's are working.
I dunno what is wrong, if It killed the expansion pak or the power thing, I dunno how it would have, but is it possible for either of these things to have happened from just touching two pins together?
How do I power a Portable?
How do I make a case?- I'm 14 and have to access to any type of cutting machine of higher quality than stuff in my garage.
Is my N64 ruined? And more.

Ok, never do that again.
Anyways, if the dont turn on(no red light) after using multiple power adapters, and checking all your connections, then I'd say fried. Also, never run your n64 without proper heatsinking. The 3 little things that come with it will kill it if you dont leave the heatsink as a whole. So replace that with something from an old computer, or be a rich guy or sumthin and buy some off internet.
To make a case, check the case construction forum. I beleive trton has a guide there.
TO power your n64p, use harshboy's diagram in the sticky, the correct links are on the last page.
Your welcome.
