Didn't violent crimes increase in Britain after they banned guns?mothatrucka wrote:Extreme_Jesus wrote: Just glad Guns arent legal
One of the many reasons I remain convinced Britain is better than the US. I stand a chance in a knife fight, but a six year old can kill me with a gun. Survival of the fittest gets thrown right out the window. The weak and stupid can defend themselves and breed just as well as the strong and smart.
Here's the thing, I live in the city that is home to headquarters of the National Rifle Association. There is practically no crime here. on the other hand, Washington DC is just 10 miles down the road where for all intents and purposes, guns are illegal. You want to talk about violence problems? Look no further than DC. Things are so bad there that convenience stores need to keep their cashiers behind a slab of bullet-proof glass. I would take my chances with responsible gun owners over the streets of DC where guns are illegal any day. Bottom line: Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
