Yeah, all contact was through aim.

I hope I am allowed to post this...AIM is chitownbulls911. If anybody has him added, tell me if you see him on, he probably has me blocked.

Does he have another alias? I am filing a police reprt tomorrow, hope that helps.

Too bad none of these Dirtbags live nearby...I'd love to just walk up with my posse and knock on the door and demand "payment". Been screwed before on ebay, that crap yahoo auction site, and a few times by people I've met. Know that it'll catch up with them sooner or later.

Well, I just called the Chicago police department, it took like 30 minutes to get to a real person. While they were asking questions (Address, phone, IP, etc.) they asked my race and age... "Caucasian, 15..." Then they say that you have to be over 18 to file a police report. :( Stupid me! My parents are aware, but prefer to not get involved with my dealings. Should I just call them tomorrow as my dad? Not like they will know the difference...

Also, I have his IP address, anything I can do with that? And when I file a police report, how do I know anything happens? What if he just says that he has no idea what I am talking about when the police show up?

why would they ask for your race?

Calling them as your father probably isn't such a good idea. Just annoy one of your parents till they do it. That you have to be 18 to file a report is just retarded, though.

Actually, they asked my ethnicity. Better term, I guess. :? Probably because they want to see if they have you on file.

I can understand not letting minors file police reports, imagine all the fake ones that would get called in! Or kids filing police reports all the time just because some kid hit them. ;)

I guess I will get my mom to call, my dad is not so good at this stuff. The main thing is that they do not want to be interfering with my business dealings, so they stay out of it. I don't really feel like I need their help, but apparently, the Chicago police dept. does.

Is anyone here from Chicago? $20 to the first person to go to the guys house and get my money, I have his address. :D No, seriously, I will pay $20 to anyone who can get my stuff. They also earn +1000 karma points.

You should have IM'd me about all this a week earlier than you did, since I was actually in Chicago that week.

Not if they kill the guy and steal the money

Anyway, yeah, I get the point with the police reports, but they should just filter out the bad ones, and accept serious ones (like theft, especially if you know who did it)

Either way, I wish you good luck and if you can't find anyone to go there, find his phone number and tell his mother about it.

Does anyone here have a good suggestion for finding a phone number from an address? Most places are the opposite... :(
