I usually wave my hand around in the air for a moment before I grab what I'm looking for on my desk. I know the general location of what I need, but sometimes it's under something else. My workspace is just my room for soldering and electrical, and the garage for construction. Nothing fancy at all, as I usually hide my equipment within my more-than-disorganized drawers.

lol I've never had them on at the same time. I was raised to believe turning both on at once would create a black hole.
