FireFox3: What are your thoughts?

Do you mean how it fills in with a bunch of possible URLs?

Yeah, I hate that. It's so damn annoying, I just want my history to pop up, that's all. Oh well, it's still my browser of choice.

There is a plug in for FF3 called FireNES. It turns Firefox into an NES emulator that is so easy a monkey could do it (no downloading or loading roms). The only bad part about it is that it doesn't seem to save game data in games like Legend of Zelda or Startropics.

I just installed it after finding a compatible gesture extension and it's great. It just does everything so much faster and more stable than the old one.

I just have one beef. How do you make the address bar forget every site I've been to and not suggest anything? I like to keep my history pretty anonymous when other people use my firefox so they don't stumble upon my weapons of ass destruction or anything like that. I turned off history but it still has a list of sites.
EDIT: Nevermind. It's just showing bookmarks and no history.

I just upgraded to FF3. I'm loving the "awesome bar" and the interface got a nice little sprucing up.

Go to tools>options then click the privacy tab and uncheck the first three things. Mine doesnt show everything I've entered and that's all I did. I dont like the way it shows your faves when you type things.

I hit CTRL + SHIFT + DEL on my keyboard to clear up my FF2 and 3.

Holy shiz! with 8 tabs Opera is using 256MB of RAM

Well I am checking out Safari, uses slightly less memory, uses quite a bit more CPU power, compared to Opera, Safari is using up 30-40% more CPU power than Opera did

I have the exact same tabs open as I did when I took the Opera screenshot. Another thing about Safari is its default text font is literally hurting my eyes, and everything just seems so blurry in Safari.

obviously this only affects me because of my Museum worthy CPU

And here is FF3 which uses TONS less RAM.

I think I will stick with FF3, Opera didn't do allot of things properly, and was a RAM hog, Safari was slow and clunky used quite a bit of RAM as well, and the default Font gave me a horrible headache.

Go in the options of Safari and change the blurriness thing. There is an option about Screen types.

Why are you not using AIM?

And Safari is just too slow an clunky, and the Interface is ugly as hell, and I just don't like Apple.

Too bad you can not get it anymore, I just tried getting it, and it looks like the website was taken down.

hmmmm I wonder why?

offering all the ROMs publicly like that was the stupidest idea EVER.
