FireFox3: What are your thoughts?

So far I'd say its nice. I bit faster, with a cool new look (though I got a compact skin anyway). The new URL bar is really quiet cool too. Any other thoughts?

I've been using the beta since about release 3, and it's okay. It's just as reliable as its predecessors. I don't really get wowed by a browser or anything, but I'll keep it. It has more file type support than 2, and I am liking that.

i've been running the beta as well; it came with Ubuntu 8.04. its nice.

I like it, but it always crashes when I go to the msn.com page. Who's to blame, Microsoft or Mozilla?

It's still a memory hog because of the way it handles tabs, but it's okay.

If it weren't for AdBlock Plus and the relatively simple ways to put in user stylesheets and scripts Firefox additions bring, I'd be using Opera right now. It renders pages faster and doesn't use 200 MB of RAM just sitting there.

I've only had a total of 10 tabs open today.

I really can't decide if I like firefox or opera more... Opera has been really nice to me lately.

I think its great. Memory usage isnt a big deal to me because I have 3GB of Ram and if I play a game, the game is the only app open (Maybe I will have Pidgin open)

After about 1.5 hours of browsing and with a few tabs open:

Pretty OK. Right now it's at 81MB. I have lots of Spyroforum tabs open (I'm a mod there) and also engadget, and five benheck tabs open too.

Yay for multi-tasking!

running at about 80mb w/ two tabs. I was having problems with Firefox 2, so I would have to switch to Opera, and then back every two weeks, so well see if it's still the case.

I'm using FF3 right now (have been since beta 3 or so). It is using about 100MB of ram, 100MB of virtual memory, and I have about 20 tabs open right now. Much better than FF2, that thing sprung memory leaks left and right, I would have to close it periodically to save free up the wasted memory. Only problem I've had is it doesn't like closing when I shutdown/restart (using XP pro SP3).
I like Opera, but I dislike the way tabs work in it. I like being able to ctrl+click to open links in a new tab, Opera just doesn't make sense. I also like how much you can customize Firefox.

I don't know about you, but i don't ctrl-click to open a new tab, i just middle-click. much easier.

Laptop with no middle click =

I always middle click when on our desktop (I can browse like a demon with that Firefox setup), but connecting a mouse to my laptop kinda defeats the purpose. Only time it really slows me down is closing tabs because I have to click right on the close button or select the tab and then ctrl+w.

buh. i don't really know. i was so used to the version before this one, it's interface is different, and sometimes the stumble button doesn't work.
