SD-Boot seems to be designed to do what we want:

Runs .gcm files directly from SD Card it seems, patch that into your mod chip, and you should be good to go.

It's too bad he quit development on it. It looked very promising....

Seemed to be code and schematics to get the IDE adapter working (which would allow you to use tens of gigabytes CF cards). I'm not sure if the full code for the chip is in there, as the only file under VHDL (an FPGA language) is labeled something about audio.

Err, yes. While I didn't link directly too it, I did mention the interface. The interface seems to have never been released, however.

Everything needed to build one of those is either in that thread, or on the Crazy Nation site.

Can you post a direct link to the needed FPGA code? I've not seen it, only the schematics to the adapter, and the code is possibly more important than the actually physical layout. There is no mention of it being completed on the last page of that thread, was the announcement lost in the multiple page shuffle of the thread?

Nobody has completed it yet... for some reason. All of the software (source code, loaders, ect.) is accessible by clicking on the hyperlinked underline (Yeah, I know... it's strange. You'll see it if you go to the page.) Or, you can click here. I think the source code for the FPGA is in the VHDL folder.

Man, I just want an easy way to load the games, lol. Oh well, I guess I'll have to use a disk drive, as Im pretty sure no one will figure this out soon...

UPDATE: Actually, I think I'm finally going to be buying the parts to build one of these for my birthday (18th). I'll let you know what happens.
