Does metroid not work on a YOBO FC?

Does metroid not work on a YOBO FC?
I got Metroid, but when I put it in all I can do is see a black screen and hear music, if I hit start I can hear shooting and stuff when I hit the buttons lol.

I agree with GoldenFranko, I'm no expert but Metroid is one of those games I have heard no trouble about it in regards to any NOAC.
Works just fine on my FC Twin as a matter of fact (which I understand is a different internal from the Yobo FC, but most NOACs seem to have about the same defects, so yeah, I'm saying it's the cart at fault here).

I actually know what I'm talking about.
