It's called a Firebar, but when I played Super Mario 3 I always call it flaming pancakes, okay, fine, flaming waffles.

I don't recall ever seeing one of those. In the original, I'm pretty damn sure they're just fireballs! If you ask me, the emulator just got a wrong texture for them.

since this is now a mario 3 topic (and thankfully the question has been answered without me opening up my sealed copy to look at the instructions

), here's a thing about hidden beta levels that can be accessed by game genie codes.

Non of those codes worked on my REAL game genie, and after i hit reset to go back to the code input, it replaced all but the first line with "EEEE"

My game genie is in multiple parts (failed 60-72 pin connection from about 3 years ago) so I haven't tested any of the codes. If memory serves me right, isn't there only room to enter 3 codes anyways?
