I am, but some I want to see. A phpBB Hack might make "ignoring" avatars simplier.

I have no problem with it. The only problem I can see is for the younger members that have parents peering over them when they're online :)

Sounds like a good idea. Could you choose to ignore certain peoples avatars or would it have to be all avatars?

I'm sure you could ignore only certain peoples (as long as they actually make that hack)
I'm not sure if Ben is good enough with programming to install one though :?

yeah, but I'd need ftp access to the site and that would require Ben giving me his password (which I doubt he'd do)

Here you go: Individual Ignore Signature and Avatar (Per User Basis) should be easy to install.

Awesome! That seems to be the best way to take care of the whole situation.
Now if ben will just agree to use it....

As a member of a gaming forum that allows religious discussion I'd just like to say that it is a very bad idea. It'll drive a wedge in the comunity like you wouldn't firggen believe and even after the discussion has been locked (usually because it becomes a flamewar) some will try and make every other discussion about religion whenever they get the chance. Its exactly the same with polotics. You'd think people would be able to keep it civil, but it never is for very long.

So just say no to religion and polotics in the forum!

I agree with MajorLag, who must be using a DSL or dial-up modem to have a name like that. It DOES drive a wedge... despite how we're "all the same" "all Americans" blah blah blah, well, we're NOT all the same in our views and that causes distress. So yes, it may seem like a kind of censorship to say "NO RELIGION OR POLITICS" but it's meant to keep us together and on track.

And I still miss the Linux Chick. I think that she should return! (Especially with the santa hat, that was cute, and VERY VERY Warrent!)
