Why on earth is it so flaky?
I don't think the chips are overheating... 30 seconds really isn't long enough, and they all have heatsinks AND a fan.
Funny thing is it ran fine yesterday, then I charged up the batteries for a few hours last night (up to 12). Now it works WORSE with more power! This is nuts!

My gameboy sp used to do that. Turns out that it was the battery comming out. I had put in the extra-long battery, but had forgotten to screw it in ALL the way. Every time I pressed too hard.
