Replacing pots with resistors?
Is there any kind of guide as far as how best to determine what value resistor to use when removing a pot? Should you go by the minimum or max value of the pot or perhaps try to determine a middle value?

Also, if you are planning on doing this, make sure that you remove the pot from the pcb/project board/whatever first before measuring the resistance. You can't get an accurate measurement on it while it's in the circuit.
But we really shouldn't be mentioning pot unless we want this thread locked.
