I only have one beef with WinAmp. It plays MP4 videos as audio.

You have a setting wrong. I don't know what it is, I used the Combined Community Codec Pack on my XP account, Winamp plays MP4 fine, but it will only play sound on my parent's account (even after using CCCP).

They play fine in VLC, though.

I remember using winamp back in the day and it was good but now everything else seems to be better in all ways. VLC media player for the win! .I would say that VLCC is much more of a "love at first site" program. I just got VLC like 2 weeks ago because I needed something to play a .flv file and it was able to play that aswell as everything else I had that WMP was incompatible with.

With classic skin, its the same as 5.35, and whatever version I had years before that.
So yeah, it plays music.
