Translating songs from one language to another

It's actually fairly accurate, except for that "rules of science" thing. "La ciencia es interesante" would work, or even just "Que interesante!"

Actually, the English we speak in america comes mostly from french.

english is a bastard language, borrows roots from latin, german and a handful of other languages, saying that one language has more influence on ours is a moot issue at best, personally i have ZERO intrest in learning spanish, german is more interesting to me, as is Japanese and latin

all we had was spanish. that's why when i got to college i jumped straight to the first language that was faaaaaaaaar away from spanish as possible.

Not really. German has some crazy verb before noun thing. Spanish, and all of the other Romance languages, have just an adjective after noun thing. Of course, some things are weird in Spanish. Me molesta Presidente Bush means President Bush bothers me. I bet you thought it meant something dirty, didn't you!

I'm planning on taking Japanese when I get into college. Then I will live in Japan for a year to further broaden my Japanese. Japan is freakin' awesome.

molestar means to bother, benol. i studied four years of spanish in high school.

*not to mention my sister is a spanish teacher and we speak some whenever we call each other.

and as far as verb before nouns. in english: i have a dog. in german: ich habe einen hund (not sure about the accusative article here feminine, masculine, or neutered.) spanish: (yo) tengo un perro. same thing. doesn't matter.

i study languages and linguistics. it's what i'm doing in college. it's partially my major. i'm not going to argue about german with you anymore. i'm done.

And einen is the accusative for der, but ein is the nominative.

Nominative:
der=ein
die=eine
das=ein

Accusative:
der=einen
die=eine
das=ein

yes, i knew that. in the sentence ich habe einen hund, ich is nominative and hund is accusative. so einen is correct.

oh mah gawsh, we've been looking into the dative case and it's so confusing! but i think i have it down now.

ich schenke meiner mutter parfÃ¼m. except not because i'm poor.
