You shouldn't have done that without checking the rating of the device. 60 watts could be too much! You could cause a fire! Why not use an LED light? They're way more efficient.

Be careful when changing flurescent light bulbs, if they break you get a mercury hazard

Nobody stated what type of connection the bulb uses, or what the rated wattage/voltage/amperage is. Also, it was not noted what type of lamp technology (incandescent, fluorescent, halogen, LED) was used in the original lamp assembly.

This makes me a sad bear.

2 things. Grammar has an A in it, and capitalization is grammar, along with punctuation. Albeit, I made one spelling correction, but the rest were grammar.
