Thinnest analog joystick?
Well? I need it for a secret project. I'm thinking the PSP joystick, but I'm hoping there's something even more thin.
Also, check out these: They're like D-pads.

I sent them an email, and they forwarded it to Strategic switch an audio. Unfortunately, I don't want them anymore.
Here's the message:
They're $3 CAD each off digikey.

Thinnest or not?
Also, I know that an analog controller can replace a PSP nub. Can a PSP Nub replace an analog stick?

I actually looked into this awhile back but I never committed to trying it out. I would guess that the PSP stick can replace a PS2 stick but I don't know about any other stick.
That joystick you posted earlier is way to small (1/4" wide!) for using it as a game joystick but I found this

Runs $2 but should get me what I want.

its 3mm wider, has a taller stick, and has snap mounts for pref board. Much better for portables imo. Yes I know its tact-switches but it is a Joystick never the less.Kurt_ wrote:That's only 3mm larger...
Anyways, it's not an analog stick. It's 5 tact-switches in one. For a c-stick or D-pad or something.
opps linked the wrong one

Whatever floats your boat. I want to make a digikey order soon. Maybe I'll use some pennies.
I want some. But have no use for them! Maybe just one...
Also, I'm looking to buy some tact switches on eBay. It'll be roughly $25 for 150. Good deal? I'm looking at these:

Ebay shortened their links. Interesting...

The surface mount ones look like the best cause they are like 3mm tall. To bad they are surface mount and not pcb like the 5mm ones.
Looks like a great deal. I am used to spending $.25 per one tact and those are half that.
the razor is not really an analog stick from what I read but a 4 way joystick like what kurt and I posted already.
