Thinnest analog joystick?

Well? I need it for a secret project. I'm thinking the PSP joystick, but I'm hoping there's something even more thin.

Hmm I wonder where someone could get a hold of those for a decent price. Would make a nice Joystick for my 7800 portable.

Also, I know that an analog controller can replace a PSP nub. Can a PSP Nub replace an analog stick?

I actually looked into this awhile back but I never committed to trying it out. I would guess that the PSP stick can replace a PS2 stick but I don't know about any other stick.

That joystick you posted earlier is way to small (1/4" wide!) for using it as a game joystick but I found this

That's only 3mm larger...

Anyways, it's not an analog stick. It's 5 tact-switches in one. For a c-stick or D-pad or something.

its 3mm wider, has a taller stick, and has snap mounts for pref board. Much better for portables imo. Yes I know its tact-switches but it is a Joystick never the less.

I think Acidmods has a thin PSP analog (called "razor" or something) that makes the dual nub mod easier, I'm not sure how small it is and how good it'll be for your purposes, but it might be worth looking at. I don't know if they're selling it yet or for how much.

The surface mount ones look like the best cause they are like 3mm tall. To bad they are surface mount and not pcb like the 5mm ones.

Looks like a great deal. I am used to spending $.25 per one tact and those are half that.

the razor is not really an analog stick from what I read but a 4 way joystick like what kurt and I posted already.
