Hey, is anyone interested in EA's new skate hit? This game is supposed to be VERY good. The demo just came out today, for the Xbox 360. Has anyone tried it yet? Im downloading it now. Cant wait.

I found a easteregg in skate. Go to the menu, and go through the various options. Theres an option to log into online. Which is neat, considering they don't tell you anything about that option in the demo. I dont know what logging in does, though. I tried. Nothing.

I'll have to check this out tonight. I tried the demo of that Street Trace:NYC game last night and wasn't too impressed.

Hopefully this is better. :)

I checked out the demo the other day and it was very, very slick. I'm not wild about the camera, and I want to smash that voice-over guy's face in, but overall, I think they've got a really good thing going. I didn't get the opportunity to check out that "replay reel" thing (or whatever it's called), though, as I was too busy repeatedly trying to use the face buttons to perform tricks like the stupid little Hawk addict I am (damn, those controls are hard to shake). Despite this, I feel that the decidedly "non-gamey" nature of the controls lends itself nicely to communicating the difficulty and learning process of skateboarding, and I think they're extremely smart from a simulation standpoint.
