Yea snapped 1/4th of one of my teeth right off with some steak jerky....

Granted, the tooth had other problems, and I'm glad I found out about it when I did, saved me from a root canal and got me off work a few days, woot! Basically a cavity got around a filling. :(

Anyway yea that's my story about teeth + food = breakage. I didn't ask for any money or anything, was like a 300$ bill, but oh well.

If I was going to sue anyone, it would have been Bright Now Dental..... Man oh mannnnnnnn don't even get me started.

I should ask them to put a label on it that says that. Just like with Tim Horton cups. "Caution, Hot!"

:)
This has to be the dumbest thing ever, just like when that lady sued McDonalds because she spilled her coffee on herself. It was her fault for not using common sense.

Coffee should NOT be served hot enough to cause third degree burns.

It surprises me that some people still don't know the truth about this incident, and still assume it was some sue-happy old coot. I guess it's just not as entertaining to spread the story around when that woman isn't made to look as dumb.

Er, no. I've read quite a few articles on it, and I still believe the woman is an idiot.

Owned?

(Sorry, that's my quota of 'Owned?' used up for today :P)

I've burnt myself with hot chocolate before, but never coffee. I tried to drink it too fast, as soon as it was made. Burnt my mouth and my fingers :P

You chewed it with your front teeth? They were meant to be chewed with your back teeth, they're the big guns.

How about you take responsibility for your own ignorance. You don't chew hard candy, it's common sense. People need to stop being so sue-happy when they do stupid stuff.

How bout you learn to read. I even said they were the "CHEWY" Gobstoppers. -_-

and I was chewing the INSIDE of it, which is even softer. And it broke my tooth.

Theyre "soft" candies shouldnt break peoples teeth. Also its not my fault either, as my dental record shows that I've only chipped 1 tooth before in my life and that my are taken good care of.

So? You just have weak teeth. I take great care of my stomach, but I still have acid reflux. I'm not gonna go trying to get my money back for the two dollar slice of pizza I bought at Domino's because it gave me heartburn.

Incase you didnt catch what I was trying to say.

My teeth are hard as hell. The dentist doesnt know why that theyre like that.

The dentist even said, that the candy was the cause of the chip after looking at it.

So, dont argue with me.

Weak stomachs - unite! :P

Why can I not argue with you, HDC? You have every right to get mad at Nestle for this, but in the end, it's your fault!

I don't think its my fault, when a high ranked nestle representative admits that it may be a "wrong" batch and that its THEIR fault.
