Yea snapped 1/4th of one of my teeth right off with some steak jerky....
Granted, the tooth had other problems, and I'm glad I found out about it when I did, saved me from a root canal and got me off work a few days, woot! Basically a cavity got around a filling.
Anyway yea that's my story about teeth + food = breakage. I didn't ask for any money or anything, was like a 300$ bill, but oh well.
If I was going to sue anyone, it would have been Bright Now Dental..... Man oh mannnnnnnn don't even get me started.

This has to be the dumbest thing ever, just like when that lady sued McDonalds because she spilled her coffee on herself. It was her fault for not using common sense.HotDog-Cart wrote:Theyre called "Chewy Center" Gobstopper. Theres NO label on the package that says "May damage teeth" or "Dont chew hard part with front teeth" or such.

Coffee should NOT be served hot enough to cause third degree burns.
It surprises me that some people still don't know the truth about this incident, and still assume it was some sue-happy old coot. I guess it's just not as entertaining to spread the story around when that woman isn't made to look as dumb.
Er, no. I've read quite a few articles on it, and I still believe the woman is an idiot.jperryss wrote:Skyone wrote:This has to be the dumbest thing ever, just like when that lady sued McDonalds because she spilled her coffee on herself. It was her fault for not using common sense.

How bout you learn to read. I even said they were the "CHEWY" Gobstoppers. -_-
and I was chewing the INSIDE of it, which is even softer. And it broke my tooth.
Theyre "soft" candies shouldnt break peoples teeth. Also its not my fault either, as my dental record shows that I've only chipped 1 tooth before in my life and that my are taken good care of.

So? You just have weak teeth. I take great care of my stomach, but I still have acid reflux. I'm not gonna go trying to get my money back for the two dollar slice of pizza I bought at Domino's because it gave me heartburn.HotDog-Cart wrote:How bout you learn to read. Why can I not argue with you, HDC? You have every right to get mad at Nestle for this, but in the end, it's your fault!
