1GB is more than plenty, assuming you know what you're doing. I have my laptop doing a lot more stuff on 1GB than what the average user does on 2GB.

Actually, some UMPCs are under $1000. I don't think you could get a good screen, battery, hard drive, and make a good case for under $500. It would still be awesome to do, don't get me wrong, but its not really a ton cheaper than a commercial UMPC.Kurt_ wrote:No, it's been stated it's 500-750 dollars.
