or make credit card size video cards!

its good that it can hold 1gb of RAM though, but i'd need like 5 of those for all of my RAM!

1GB is more than plenty, assuming you know what you're doing. I have my laptop doing a lot more stuff on 1GB than what the average user does on 2GB.

one gig is perfect, my desktop is only running 1 gig and its fine, my lappy though, well , its old and only has 64mb sodimm

I HAD one gig and it ran perfectly. Now it's split 50/50 between 2 computers, and is very laggy.

I have been planning on building a umpc out of one of these for a few months now. I already have the 9 inch widescreen LCD for it and I am trying to decide how I should do the case for it.

i have 1gig ram as well and every game i have thats very high specs run perfict on my computer includeing eib and 2142 all those games so it seems perfict of one 0of my ideas.

That board looks pretty sweet, but it'll likely cost almost as much as a UMPC on its own.

No, it's been stated it's 500-750 dollars. Sure, it's expensive, but still cheaper, assuming you have some spare computer parts lying around.

Actually, some UMPCs are under $1000. I don't think you could get a good screen, battery, hard drive, and make a good case for under $500. It would still be awesome to do, don't get me wrong, but its not really a ton cheaper than a commercial UMPC.
