Which is the reason I am not counting on this project to be completed. :P

GamemasterAS, Jeroen is right. Looking at how they are structuring this, I doubt it will run in anyway you're used to your computer running. I betchya iam7805 might not use a FAT/NTFS files system.

By the way iam and Jeroen, I hope you guys finish this thing, no matter to my prior comment.

Thanks for your support. Although I must admit that I do get bored with stuff quickly.

P.S. I like that avatar better then your last one. :)

Awesome idea guys! :D It should really be something if you complete it.

I've always wanted to build a computer(actually) but I don't have the time or the money. I want to build an altair. People make kits for it now but they're about $300...

I've always wanted to build a C64 laptop using one of the Hummer DTV's, but they're almost impossible to find now (if you can't find them on eBay, they don't exist)!

I have seen countless raycasting engines for such things as Commodore 64, XgameStation, and even TI-89 (and I'm talking real, texture mapped walls and everything). Making a Doom type game for a JAB computer should be relatively easy, assuming you know how to- I don't know- program!

It's not going to be a PC. It's a homebrew computer from the ground up (sounds like... I'm right, right?). You guys are all so negative... I like the idea! Any idea how long it will take? I'd like to see this actually get finished :)
