Noob question about LAN
ok, im making plans for 2 doom arcade cabs, so I can play 2 player. I am using MAMEwah, can I just plug an ethernet cord in to one from the other, and play on an LAN?

Yea, but I bet his computers are rather old. I would highly recommend a cheap router, or wireless router. They will auto assign IP addresses and makes setup a breeze. I've got a wireless card in my arcade cabinet so that I can remote control it, or copy new stuff to it no matter where it is sitting. I only have the one power cord from an "internal" surge protector that sticks out of the cabinet. I'm thinking of installing a small USB hub to give myself external access for USB devices as well. That would be nice.
