Alright, this is what you wanna do.
Use one 7805 and mod it to be a 7808 using resistors. Wire 8v to the screen, and voila!
Find whatever method to get 3.3v into the '64
After that, you can use one of them 7805s from the screen to send to the '64 itself. Perfect setup

Here's my version of that tutorial. No technical explination, no other extra bologna you don't need to know, just a quick easy way to get 8 volts from a 7805 regulator.
But yeah I used that site for the example, and Skyone's awesome component art.
(I think this diagram's easier to use than theirs, honestly...)

but just one thing, what will getting 8 volts instead of 5 volts do? the 7.2 volt battery didn't fix anythingbut it has 3300MaH 
edit: oh well I guess it will work because the screen is suposedto get 7.5v but .5v more won't harm it...

I will be getting some pictures soon, my dad needs to do whatever to get them on, this stupid thing has been ticking me of and I don't want to just say I fried it... so any more help would be appreciated!
