snes displaying wierd stuff...

I hooked up everything and then when I turned it on there was a wierd picture and staticy sounds, whats going on?

It could be a weak power source, or a dirty connector.

I rewired it( with a cartridge slot I bought of the scary internet...) and the baterry is fine because i ran final fantasy seven off it.(using the connectof crap) the board is annoying me a lot

Sounds like a short or something w/ the connector.

Clean the board around the connectors. Clean it good. With alcohol or some other thing like that. Check for blobs of solder or flux on the board. It sounds like that's your problem.

I think i solderd of the thingy labled C26, would that do any thing related

That'd be your problem. A missing capacitor would do just that.

Find it. If you can't, try replacing it. As for its value, you'd need somebody with one of those fancy capcitor-measuring tools. However, that's only on the audio IC. Keep checking for other things that might be the issue (flux/solder)

I didnt know that was a capacitator, does that mean the things labled r are resistors?

Haha, yes, you took off a capacitor, and that's a no-no, unless you're relocating it. Is C26 one of the electrolyc pit capacitors? I forget. Anyways, flux is basically something that aids in the flow of liquid-metals. In our case, we just use lemon juice!

yes the C26 is whatever you said, but I did relocate all the capacitators.(that wasnt a problem, I dont know where you got that idea...)

Did you have them on the right polarization? Cause if they aren't put in the right way they won't work (I think >_>)
