snes displaying wierd stuff...
I hooked up everything and then when I turned it on there was a wierd picture and staticy sounds, whats going on?

It could be a weak power source, or a dirty connector.

That'd be your problem. A missing capacitor would do just that.
Find it. If you can't, try replacing it. As for its value, you'd need somebody with one of those fancy capcitor-measuring tools. However, that's only on the audio IC. Keep checking for other things that might be the issue (flux/solder)

Haha, yes, you took off a capacitor, and that's a no-no, unless you're relocating it. Is C26 one of the electrolyc pit capacitors? I forget. Anyways, flux is basically something that aids in the flow of liquid-metals.
