That answers why games up to 4MB work... the Genesis *is* a 16-bit console *sigh* We have a 16-bit wide addressing scheme here. So I guess you don't need a mapper until you break 4MB, which I think only Super Street Fighter II did (even my 10-in-1 cart is only 4MB it appears... unless my info is incorrect about it). Anyway, yeah, so, I'm now convinced memory addressing will not be an issue with the RadicaThe ROM is mapped directly into the first 2 million words (=4 million bytes) of the Genesis' address space
We still need a Mega Key/Nitro adapter to test if the region thing will fix Sonic 3.
