Well guys, eastrider_1 has agreed to sell me his next portable, the PSTwoP. He's getting all the parts and such himself, and building the case. It'll be $700 for a very quality portable, ($660 if I can get him a screen) but if any of you can do it cheaper (and you're qualified, of course) then I guess I'm open to switching clients, although I must say that I'm impressed with east's first PS2p and his experience with PS2!
Thanks,
CTFan

consider this it will take about $200 to make it...I really would pay over $400 (standard retail profit margin)
Now that is for the basics, PStwo, Screen, controller and battery, frakencase no special mods
How did I figure $200?
Pstwo with controller - $50, yes 50 because Gamestop only gives you $40 for a trade in just hang around and offer the first smo you see $50 in cash and see who takes it
or $100 if you buy it form Gamestop
Screen- $40 (Buy it now on eBay)
battery- about 30 for a decent SONY type from power101
Subtotal- expensive- $170
cheap- $110
$200 generous

Plus, I've just been informed that Ben only charged $500 for his original PS2p! I may have to rethink that $700 price tag...

Ben's selling them for $1000... >.<Since interest in N64 and PS2 portables comprise a large portion of my email, I thought it'd be a good idea to reveal what I'd charge to build them...
N64 Portable: $900
PS2 Portable: $1000
I'd probably do it for $400-$500. $250 or so if supplies are.... supplied.

Well, I'm holding on to Trigger, it's just got too many memories attached, and FAR too many secrets yet to uncover. And actually, I just got rid of FFII and Secret of Mana to a friend who gave me Disgaea (you have NO IDEA how pissed I was when I found out that game was worth $200 now. I sold it at a garage sale for $10!!!). So basically, all I have to trade is FFIII and an English copy of Terranigma+the PAR3 converter, the only one that'll run it. I love both games, but I may be willing to part w/them, I suppose. Terrangima alone is a $70 game, and the converter is $80-$100 when it pops up on Ebay, about once every 5 months. I do have a lot of the other SNES games on your list as well, though.Klefmung wrote:I will do it for all your RPGs. Nothing else. Just the RPGs. And yes, definitely show me your work! As of now, though, Sky wins; he's got the lowest price for the most quality. So unless your work blows me away Klef...

I will take mentioned above. Ff3 is something I was looking for, and terranigma sounds great... but I will ditch that and the converter in order to undercut sky. <_< What other SNES games do you have? I will edit or post with my work soon.

Successfully relocated cart slot!
(one connection came off when my idiot brother threw it, but it worked before that connection came off, and will afterwards) I would post my totally wired psonep. But the mobo fried right before I encased it. and I threw it away. >_<
