I asked how long it was in the water because if it was only in for a moment I can't see how the water could have caused too much damage. It should be in perfect working condition soon if it already started working again.

As long as you STOP TOUCHING IT. I'm aware that "touching is good" on the DS, but when it falls in the pool just let it be. Don't touch it until monday. Can you make it that long?

I found it in the scrapyard. It was brownish so it looked like copper. could be lead. Could be anything. All I know is that it was magnetic... It was big, so I cut off a peice with my dad's bolt cutters. it was made specificly for this experiment. Of course now, It is hard to belive someone did what I did, but every person that is greedy stages thier bets.

---Story---

ShockSlayer: Hey, how much do you bet that I would throw my DS Lite in its case in the lake and fish it out with this magnet? *Shows magnet*

Chaos: NO FRIGGEN WAY! I'DE GIVE YOU A MILLION!!!

ShockSlayer: How about 20.

Chaos: Ok.

ShockSlayer: *throws in ds lite in case* *gets rod* *fishes it out* *laughs* *takes $20 from his hand*

---End Story---

I fit that metal stuff inside, and hot glued it. (I love hot glue)
I tested with my neighbors ds lite. :D
No wetness anywhere.
Then I took my ds lite and put a thin layer of plastic wrap around it.

I plan on using that money to buy a new screen.

I hav a hard time buying that story. There is a extrememly noticable weight difference between lead and copper, let alone its malleability.

How can you not but that story? He said he DIDN'T know what it was. But if hefished it out with a magnet, something on it was magnetic.

Because you can't easily mistake the eight difference. Plus how do er know he had a strong enough magnet not only to lift up some 'lead' which is heavy and against the surface tension of the water.

I apologise if it is true but it sound horribly a made up on the spot kind of thing.

But WHY would he make up a story saying he fished his DS out of water? It's too simplistic to be fake.

Does it matter? I'm stupid at times. Just don't flame me.

Junkyards are awesome! I found a huge block of plastic. Its blue. I'm thinking about useing that plastic for something. hehehehehe. Does anyone want any?

*Hides in corner*

EDIT: Also, my dad works with aluminumn stuff, so I'll ask him metal questions. The magnet isn't your everyday school locker magnet. It's the kind that are called:

MSC Industrial Part # 67140665

Or so it says on the magnet....
