I have no _______ clue how I keep doing it..... Okay I took apart my friends computer so I could transfer a new motherboard into it but... It did not fit. So I put his computer back together and like in this
thread his computer ran, made noises (good ones) but did not get video signal. WTF is going on? Any dang way any help would be of use

Surely he should know the importance of grounding himself around static sensitive equiptment! I have taken apart plenty a pc and its not really a problem over here as UK plugs have a ground wire so you just leave it plugged in but powered off and then is fine but I occasionally touch something to ground myself just incase.
