Nope. Not compatable, you'll just have the CD player pop up most likely if you try.

It funny when you put dreamcast games into CD players and stuff that has CD players. You get this woman who infroms you that you have a dreamcast game disc, that can only be played in the SEGA dreamcast console.

I got a good chuckle when I put a dreamcast game into my PS2 and that popped up.

Yeah I know off-topic, it just seemed kinda releated.

Yeah the Saturn uses a MIPS type CPUs, and you'd need a 68000 (or is it 010) for the CPU of the Sega CD.

@Extremesonic, Yeah I belive the first few hundred megabytes of the disc can be read on a CD-Rom. And if I remember right it's all the music and video media. I wish a DVD-Rom could read Dreamcast discs, I'd get the videos off my Grandia II disc then.

Just another quick question, I put a Audio CD-R and a regular Audio CD in the Saturn just to see if it would read it and it dident spin, I cant tell because I dont have a A/V or RF adapter for it but would I have to select on the menu of the console to get them to play?

Thanks

Well, I doubt it, and you'd probably have to finalize the disc.
