Saturn/Sega CD backwards compatability
Hey, today i got a Sega Saturn for cheap no games though and i was just wondering if Sega CD games work on the Saturn console

It funny when you put dreamcast games into CD players and stuff that has CD players. You get this woman who infroms you that you have a dreamcast game disc, that can only be played in the SEGA dreamcast console.
I got a good chuckle when I put a dreamcast game into my PS2 and that popped up.
Yeah I know off-topic, it just seemed kinda releated.

Yeah the Saturn uses a MIPS type CPUs, and you'd need a 68000 (or is it 010) for the CPU of the Sega CD.
@Extremesonic, Yeah I belive the first few hundred megabytes of the disc can be read on a CD-Rom. And if I remember right it's all the music and video media. I wish a DVD-Rom could read Dreamcast discs, I'd get the videos off my Grandia II disc then.
