Why do you need LEDs? A replacement screen I can sort of understand (isn't the Nomad passive-matrix? I mean it has ghosting right...) As for the battery pack, can't you get a battery holder from Radio Shack and wire up a plug that fits the Nomad?CronoTriggerfan wrote:^Well, paying for the Nomad itself is a lot, then for LEDs and such.....maybe a better screen altogether, then buying the rechargeable Nomad battery pack......Those fees.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure CronoTriggerFan sold his Hevy DS awhile ago and now wants to get a new one due to some good games (remember this from some other thread). If that's the case, then I'd say definitely go with the Lite, since you'd be able to play DS games again.bicostp wrote:And why do you absolutely need a Lite? It's functionally the same as the Hevy (there I said it, happy?) but a bit smaller. The old one still works, so what difference does it make?

He's right you know! I traded my DS Hevy for a nice MIDI keyboard, because I knew that the Lite was coming out.
